Summer Holidays St Gervais and the local area offers superb mountain scenery during spring and summer. There are many walks that will entertain - and if you have access to a car, the opportunities are almost limitless with access to Chamonix, Argentiere, etc. St Gervais itself boasts a couple of swimming pools, the usual restaurants, and even a play park for younger visitors. The local countryside is straight out of Heidi - the cows still wear big brass bells, and you might even spot a goatherd on the mountainside! If you are really fortunate there are deer, foxes and birds of prey to see.
